Baskonia signs Eugene Omoruyi on short-term deal

Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz has announced the signing of Eugene Omoruyi on a two-month contract. Included in the deal is the option to extend his contract until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Omoruyi (1.98 meters, 28 years old) joins the club after most recently playing for Al Nasr in Dubai, where he averaged 25.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals in four games in the Arab Club Championships. Prior to that, he spent the 2024-25 campaign with the Raptors 905 in the G League, posting 18.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steal per night across 37 appearances.
The Canadian-Nigerian forward has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards in the NBA, the Texas Legends, Oklahoma City Blue and Capital City Go-Go in the G League.
He will make his EuroLeague debut when he first steps onto the floor for Baskonia.
