FC Bayern Munich has added Cassius Winston to its roster for the 2022-23 season, the club confirmed on Thursday. Winston (1.85 meters, 24 years old) joins from Washington of the NBA, where he averaged 2.0 points and 1.0 assist in seven games off the bench last season. He also played 20 games for Capital City of the G League, during which time he averaged 13.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists. Winston is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut next season.

Winston played college basketball at Michigan State University for four years before beginning his professional career in the NBA with Washington. In total, he has played 29 games for Washington over the last two seasons, all of which were appearances off the bench for limited minutes. In the G League, Winston has spent time with Erie in 2020-21 and Capital City in 2021-22.
