The regular season and the post-season (playoffs + Final Four) are considered separate phases in the game. In the main menu, you will be able to choose "playoffs" to create and manage new fantasy teams and leagues in the post-season, and "regular" to see how you ranked in the first phase of the competition - the score you had and where you placed in the leagues you participated in
All Fantasy Challenge teams will be reset and the budgets will start again at 100 credits. Of course, you can select only players of teams participating in the playoffs, with a maximum of six players per team. All player ratings will be adjusted based on the budget available and their projected performance. As for private leagues, Main Classic will be reset and Private Classic Leagues will need to be recreated. There will be also a Cumulative League, including all teams in the system, that puts together the scores from the regular season with those from the playoffs, in case you want to keep competing with everybody from the very beginning until the very end of the season!
The schedule for the playoffs will be as follows: Since it is guaranteed that the opening three playoff games will feature all eight qualified teams, the structure from the regular season will remain with the ability to swap players on the bench who play on the second day of the round into the lineup for those who played on the first day of the round. After that, the schedule may vary based on the results of the four series and will be adapted accordingly. For instance, if only one series reaches Game 5, there will be only players from those two teams. Players from all teams not playing in that round, qualified to the Final Four or eliminated, will get zero points. The Final Four will be played across two fantasy rounds: Semifinals and Finals. These rounds will be played each in one singular turn and you will be able to select only players from the four teams. Trading will be unlimited between rounds.
