ALBA Berlin announced on Tuesday that it has signed native son Tim Schneider to a three-year contract extension. Schneider (2.08 meters, 24 years old) is a product of the club’s youth team ad has been in the ALBA system for more than a decade and part of the first team since the 2016-17 season. He averaged 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds over 11:46 minutes in 22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season as well as 7.5 points and 2.5 boards in 17 appearances in the German League to help ALBA win its third straight domestic championship. He has also won a pair of German Cups with ALBA.
