ALBA Berlin announced the signing of top prospect Gabriele Procida on Friday. The contract is for three seasons. Procida (2.01 meters, 20 years old) arrives from Fortitudo Bologna, where he averaged 7.0 points on 67.9% two-point shooting and 3.0 rebounds in 28 appearances in the Italian League last season.

Procida began his professional career with Cantu before joining Fortitudo. He has also played in the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament with U18 Stellazzurra Roma and U18 Virtus Bologna. Procida has represented the Italian national team at both the youth and senior levels.
