ASVEL brings in guard Mathews
Mathews spent four years at the University of Southern California before beginning his professional career with Koping Stars of Sweden in 2020. Whilst playing for Koping in the Swedish first division, Mathews averaged 20.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 16 appearances. Last summer, he joined Anwil and saw his game time drastically increase. He has never played in the 7DAYS EuroCup, so his first taste of European basketball will be with ASVEL in the EuroLeague.
