LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne announced on Saturday that center Joffrey Lauvergne suffered a cruciate ligaments rupture to his right knee. Lauvergne got injured during ASVEL's Round 4 loss on the road against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, and will be sidelined for "several months", the announcement says.

The 31-year old Lauvergne is a veteran in his seventh season in the competition, having made 120 appearances for career averages of 9.1 points and 4.9 rebounds.
ASVEL has opened the season with a 1-3 record and hosts Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in Round 5 on Friday.
