Baskonia adds forward Diez
Diez came through Real Madrid's youth system and made his debut with the first team in the 2011-12 campaign. He then spent the following season with Lagun Aro in the Spanish first division before returning to Real in the summer of 2013, as he went on to appear in the EuroLeague for the first time in his career. The next campaign saw him play for Gipuzkoa of Spain, but Diez returned to the EuroLeague one year later with Unicaja. In his four seasons at Unicaja, Diez featured in the EuroLeague twice and in the 7DAYS EuroCup twice. In 2019, he joined Tenerife and spent two seasons there. Then, last summer, he signed for Burgos. He has also represented Spain's senior team on nine occasions. Now, Diez returns to the EuroLeague after a four-year absence.
