Obst suffered the injury in practice right before his team's trip to Lithuania to face Zalgiris Kaunas in Round 15. In an official statement, the club announced that his arm will first be immobilized and then checked again in one month.

Bayern is already without star forward Vladimir Lucic due to an elbow injury. Obst is averaging 9.4 points on 38.9% three-point shooting in 14 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season.
