Dusko Ivanovic, Crvena Zvezda head coach
"I think seven minutes at the end of the second quarter defined the way of how we had to play against Baskonia, who is a team with so many talents and excellent shooters. But I think we played excellent defense."
"After the first 12 or 13 minutes, we found the way to win this game against the best offensive team in the EuroLeague and the Spanish League, because we played good defense."

"I think in the first 15 minutes, we played our basketball, we played well, we controlled the rhythm. I think it was 23-35 in the first 14 minutes, but after the second foul they used, the rhythm and the game changed. It was very difficult to win. We have had 19 turnovers, and Zvezda had 12 more shots and 10 more free throws. In the second half, they controlled the rhythm and it's possible we played our worst game on the offensive end all season."

"Once we started playing defense – our guards, especially, put great effort on the defensive part of the court – we started playing better. To keep Baskonia on 63 points is really hard. They're an extremely talented and offensive-oriented team. So, I think that we did a pretty good job starting with the defense. [Markus Howard] is for sure one of the most dangerous shooters in Europe, not just on their team. So one of our focuses was to stop him. But, you know, Baskonia is a great team. We had to do the job on other players, too."

"Luka and Coach said it very well. Our defense was on a high level tonight. We managed to stop a very high-scoring team like Baskonia. I think they scored just 63 points. That's a great achievement and I'm very happy with this win. We have four more games left, with this one five. I'd like to think this was the first win out of five, so let's see."
