Cedevita's (0-9) quest for a first win continues with a visit from Hapoel (6-2), which is looking to protect its position in the playoff places.
Simone Pianigiani, Cedevita Olimpija: 'We must approach each match with the desire to compete'

Hapoel is looking for a third straight win after last week overcoming Besiktas thanks to another strong performance from J'Covan Brown, who has averaged 17 points and 7.7 assists in the last three games and will be relishing the opportunity to go up against the second-weakest defense in the competition, with Cedevita allowing an average of 90.2 points per game. The Slovenian team does have plenty of firepower, with fit-again Justin Cobbs registering 19 and 21 points in his two games since returning from injury.
Simone Pianigiani, Cedevita Olimpija head coach
"We are entering the second half of the group stage of the EuroCup, so the systems that the teams have and at the same time the strengths of the teams participating in the competition are already clear. Unfortunately, we also have a clear view of the standings of Group A. The differences between us and the other teams are clear, even if we were competitive in most matches. However, we must not think too much about the position in the standings, we must approach each match with the desire to compete and win. The players have put a lot of energy into solving the problems we face and that they give their all in every game in both competitions without a real break. The last few days have really tired them out, so we have to go into the next matches with a clear head. Hapoel play fast and aggressive, all over the court, and they are really good at it. They want to compete for the top of the competition. Within the system we have, we have to show our qualities, at the same time bring back the players who are coming back from injuries and find a way to relieve the players who have been overworked in the last period. Therefore, the main goal is to show a good game against a very good team and at the same time be in the game to win until the end. We go ball by ball, possesion by possesion, game by game to try to improve our game and at the same time enjoy playing in a competition like the EuroCup. The group is difficult, so every player must approach the games with a positive desire to progress, and at the same time to show the quality with which we can be better in the second half of the regular season."
Rok Radovic, Cedevita Olimpija player
"We have a tough game ahead of us. We'll do everything in our power to get the first win in the EuroCup this season."
