The tour of media days ahead of the 2023-24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season has entered its final week. Half of the 18 teams have already participated in Media Day activities during the past month, and on Monday it was ALBA Berlin turn to tell its story going into the season.
The setting for the photo shoots, interviews and social media activities and interactions was the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which also happens to be a venue of the 2024 Final Four, a place where the next EuroLeague champion will be crowned.
For ALBA and its roster, it was a summer of changes. The team features five new faces – newly signed guards Sterling Brown, Matt Thomas and Matteo Spagnolo, forward Justin Bean, and Ziga Samar returning from on loan. Those are the most changes that ALBA's roster has gone through in recent years, so head coach Israel Gonzalez will have some adjusting to do.
