· CSKA ousted Baskonia 3-1 in the 2019 EuroLeague Playoffs. The teams split two games in Moscow before CSKA beat Baskonia on the road at the Fernando Buesa Arena in Games 3 and 4 of the playoffs and then survived Final Four showdowns at the same venue against Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes Istanbul, respectively, to take the crown.
· CSKA won four games in a month at Fernando Buesa Arena to claim the 2019 EuroLeague title, first beating Baskonia on the road in Games 3 and 4 of the playoffs and then surviving Final Four showdowns against Real Madrid and Anadolu Efes Istanbul, respectively.
· In Game 2 of the 2019 EuroLeague Playoffs, Baskonia registered a 68-78 road win for its first and only victory over CSKA in Moscow since the 2005 Final Four – and ending a run of 15 consecutive defeats there.
· Baskonia beat CSKA in Moscow in the 2005 semifinals in what is regarded as one of the biggest upsets in Final Four history; Baskonia won 78-85 after CSKA had reached that game with a 19-1 record in the EuroLeague. Arvydas Macijauskas led Baskonia with 23 points.
· CSKA and Baskonia faced each other in the 2008 EuroLeague semifinals in Madrid. CSKA rallied from a 6-point halftime deficit to beat Baskonia 79-83. Ramunas Siskauskas and David Andersen led the way with 16 points apiece.
· In the 2017 EuroLeague Playoffs, CSKA swept Baskonia capped by an 88-90 win in Game 3 in Vitoria-Gasteiz behind 21 points from Cory Higgins.
· CSKA ousted Baskonia twice more in the EuroLeague Playoffs, in 2010 and 2013, both times winning the series 3-1.
· CSKA set a club record in EuroLeague play this century with 10 blocks against Baskonia on January 8, 2015.
· Baskonia set a club record with 10 blocks against CSKA Moscow on March 5, 2015.
