Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv added more depth to its backcourt with guard Jalen Adamas signing a three-month contract with an option to extend until the end of the season, the club announced on Saturday. Adams (1.91 meters, 26 year old) arrives after a leg injury sidelined Darrun Hilliard last weekend.
"There is a situation where we need another creative guard for the rotation and he will be able to help us", head coach Oded Kattash explained.
Adams played with a fellow Israeli side Hapoel Jerusalem last season averaging 14.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Before Jerusalem, Adams played with Erie in the G League and briefly with Chalons Reims in France. He is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.
