Seven rounds – Rounds 26 through 32 – will be taken into consideration for March's Turkish Airlines EuroLeague MVP of the Month award, with the last set of eligible games set to take place this coming Thursday and Friday. The MVP will be named by Euroleague Basketball based on his and his team's performance during the month. In alphabetical order, here are some of the top candidates heading into the last games of the month.
Wade Baldwin, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (5-1)
One-half of the self-proclaimed best backcourt in the EuroLeague, Wade Baldwin has been a man on a mission of late, guiding Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv to a 5-1 record so far in March and giving it a big push in its bid to reach the playoffs. Baldwin has averaged 19.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and a 21.3 PIR during this period, and his consistent, high-level play has allowed Maccabi to stay firmly in the playoff positions. Should Baldwin be named the MVP of the Month, it will be his first MVP of the Month honor and the first by a Maccabi player since Alex Tyus in the 2018-19 season.
