EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has picked up a pair of road wins this past week, but learned it lost its top scorer Shavon Shields to a foot injury. Milan announced on Saturday that Shields suffered a tendon injury to his left foot in the first quarter of Thursday's road win over FC Bayern Munich. "Shields’ conditions will be re-evaluted in 6-to-8 weeks", stands in the the club's announcement.
Despite playing just 5 minutes and scoring 4 points, Shields still sits as Milan's top scorer through four rounds with 14.7 points and a team-high average PIR of 15.0. He also averages 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Shields also led Milan last season with 13.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals.
Playing in his fifth season in the competition. Shields and Milan hope he will be back on the EuroLeague floors in December.
