Datome, 34, had a bone fragment removed. It was the result of a collision during the team’s Italian League game against Dinamo Sassari on Sunday. He will be re-evaluated in three weeks. Milan, which has clinched home-court advantage for the EuroLeague Playoffs, is scheduled to host the first two games of its best-of-five quarterfinals series the week of April 19. Datome has averaged 6.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in this, his second season with the club.
