Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul guard Marko Guduric has been in peak form over the last month and his performance on Thursday in Milan was one of his best yet.
Guduric was at his best, again, for Fenerbahce
One could be forgiven for thinking that Fenerbahce might have fallen apart after losing stars Nando De Colo and Jan Vesely to injuries in late December. To remain in the playoff hunt, Coach Sasa Djordjevic was going to need several players to help carry the burden. And while that has been true, no one has done more for the club in that time than Guduric.
Over his first 15 games played this season, Guduric had posted an average performance index rating of 7.2. In the last four games, he has nearly tripled that to 20.2. In that stretch, Guduric has been worth 15.5 points on 14-for-20 two-point shooting (70%) and 8-for-6 shooting from downtown (50%). He has also averaged 4.8 assists after contributing just 2.3 per game before that. Likewise, his steals skyrocketed from 0.3 per game to 2.2 per game.

Guduric scored 7 more points in the second quarter and remained a key figure all night long whether as a creator, a scorer or a defender.
He finished the game with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 4 turnovers and 1 block. Guduric made 4 of 5 two-pointers, 2 of 3 threes and was perfect on 3 free throws in amassing a PIR of 24 in another fantastic performance.
