EuroLeague fans, we have our 10th winner in this season's [EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge](https://euroleaguefantasy.euroleaguebasketball.net/)! Aleksandra Alex beat everyone else in Round 10 with her team Chillito, which had a Fantasy Challenge score of 259.30.

Aleksandra had the following lineup: Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv's Elijah Bryant as team captain, then Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul's Wade Baldwin, Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz's Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Anadolu Efes Istanbul's Ercan Osmani, and Dubai Basketball's Kenan Kamenjas as her other starters. Olympiacos Piraeus's Nikola Milutinov was her sixth man. Aleksandra's bench players were Olympiacos's Tyler Dorsey, FC Bayern Munich's Oscar da Silva, Paris Basketball's Sebastian Herrera, and Zalgiris Kaunas's Arnas Butkevicius. Hapoel play-caller Dimitris Itoudis was Aleksandra's head coach.

The prize for finishing first in Round 10 is a VIP EuroLeague TV Subscription for the 2026-27 Season, and an automatic entry to a lottery to win two tickets to the 2027 Final Four.

Keenan Evans suffers Achilles rupture in EuroLeague return

[Keenan Evans](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/keenan-evans/011218/)’s long road back to the EuroLeague ended in heartbreak Wednesday night.

The [Olympiacos Piraeus](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/olympiacos-piraeus/oly/) guard suffered a rupture of his left Achilles tendon just over two minutes into his return during [a Round 10 win over Zalgiris Kaunas](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/news/tyler-dorsey-roasts-zalgiriss-defense-as-olympiacos-dominates-in-piraeus/), the team announced after the game. It was his first EuroLeague appearance since April 11, 2024, the final day of the 2023-24 regular season.

Evans checked in with 2:16 left in the first quarter and was greeted by a loud ovation inside Peace and Friendship Stadium. Facing his former team, the 29-year-old was playing his first EuroLeague minutes since joining Olympiacos in the summer of 2024. He had made his season debut last weekend in Greek League action – his first game back after a long recovery from injury.

Less than two minutes later, he went down clutching his left leg. Play stopped immediately as teammates and staff rushed to help, and the crowd fell silent. Evans was later helped off the court and did not return.

For Evans, the injury is another cruel setback. The former Zalgiris star hoped to be able to contribute for Olympiacos upon his return, bringing scoring and experience to one of Europe’s top rosters.

“First and foremost, I want to pray for Keenan Evans,” [Tyler Dorsey](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/tyler-dorsey/009849/) said in his opening remarks to EuroLeague TV after the game. “I don't know what the injury is, but hopefully God can cover him and bless him with nothing serious.”

“Today, this \[win\] is not important. The most important thing is I really hope this tragedy that happened again with Keenan is not as bad as it seems it is,” [Nikola Milutinov](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/nikola-milutinov/003941/) added. “It's the most difficult for him, it's also difficult for all of us because we've been with him through the previous year throughout the whole process. We know how much hard work he put in. He wanted to be with us, he wanted to be part of this team. Again, he was so unlucky.”

Olympiacos went on to win the game, but the result took a back seat to concern for Evans. The club has not yet announced a timeline for his recovery.

Evans, who has battled back from serious injury before, now faces another long rehab.

Time will tell if this was [Oscar Orellana](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/teams/fc-barcelona/bar/orellana-oscar/)'s only game leading [FC Barcelona](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/fc-barcelona/bar/). 

The 45-year-old, who was named interim head coach last Sunday after [his former boss Joan Penarroya was fired](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/news/barcelona-sacks-joan-penarroya/), insisted ahead of Wednesday's game against [FC Bayern Munich](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/fc-bayern-munich/mun/) at SAP Garden that his job was to make his players look forward.

"We have talked and what we asked is to focus on winning the game against Bayern Munich tomorrow," Coach Orellana said the day before the game. "This is what we asked the team, not to think about anything else but preparing the game really well yesterday and today to beat Bayern. We have to think about beating Bayern in Munich without thinking about anything else."

Orellana got the job done as Barca left Munich with a morale-boosting 74-75 victory. Rather than focusing on the end of the game and how close it was, let's take a look at the things he changed and how he managed to make the team more effective in such a short period of time.

Defensively, Barca managed to be very effective against a team that entered this game on a three-game winning streak, a run that had seen the German side average 87.3 points per game. One of the *Blaugrana*'s main tasks was to stop [Andreas Obst](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/andreas-obst/004508/).

Last season, in Barca's last visit to SAP Garden, Obst set an all-time EuroLeague record by burying 11 three-pointers to lead Bayern to a 100-78 victory on November 22, 2024. [Tomas Satoransky](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/tomas-satoransky/002939/) was his designated defender on Wednesday night, a player with enough size, quickness and experience to limit him, denying him the ball as much as possible. Obst finished the game with 3 points on 1-of-8 shooting and a PIR of -6.

Coach Orellana relied on [Willy Hernangomez](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/willy-hernangomez/003196/), giving him an offensive specialist role. In his 16 minutes on the floor, Hernangomez was often his team's first option on offense, getting 10 points. In his previous five games, Hernangomez averaged just 2.6 points and never played more than 15 minutes. A new situation could make one of the best scoring centers in the EuroLeague bounce back and look more efficient.

By focusing on getting Hernangomez and [Jan Vesely](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/jan-vesely/000925/) involved on offense, Barca got many more paint touches, looking to score around the basket. Before this game, Barca averaged 26.8 three-point shots per game. It took 17 in this game, and just 6 in the first half as it built a double-digit lead, 32-43. Another stellar halftime stat that spoke wonders about Barca's defense was the fact that Bayern had just 2 assists at the break. The hosts averaged 18.0 assists before the game and they ended up having 14, but also 14 turnovers.

With Obst out of the game due to Satoransky's defense, [Spencer Dinwiddie](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/spencer-dinwiddie/014162/) kept the hosts in the contest with 16 first-half points. He went scoreless throughout the second half until he drew a foul at 73-75 with 1.2 seconds left. Dinwiddie missed his second attempt, allowing Barca to head back to Spain with the win.

In short, Barca took fewer three-pointers, looked for a more balanced offense by getting its big men involved, and was really smart on defense, trying to stop the players that could potentially hurt its chances to win. Satoransky led the way with 13 points and a PIR of 22, [Will Clyburn](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/will-clyburn/004888/) added 12 while [Toko Shengelia](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/tornike-shengelia/001133/) joined Hernangomez on 10 points.

"Before I talk about the game, I didn't really have a chance publicly to say thank you to coach Joan Penarroya," Shengelia said after the game. "And I want to use this opportunity and say thank you on behalf of the team as well for everything that he has done for us this year.

"Also, congratulations to coach Oscar \[Orellana\] and the staff. They did an amazing job preparing the game. These are the type of situations that either break you or make you, so this brought us together. And it tells you about the family spirit we have inside the locker room. We played as a unit, both offensively and defensively, and it also showed on the court. I'm really happy for my team that we got a win down today."

After the game, Satoransky went back to Coach Orellana's words before the game. The focus was on Bayern, and Barca got the job done.

"I feel excited and relieved. I think it was a well-fought victory. In the EuroLeague, you have to fight until the end, so that what's happened," Satoransky said. "I think we stayed together. This situation is obviously not the best right now, but we are trying to stay together, show it on the court and move forward. And I think that's the most important what we did. We just focused on beating Bayern. That's what we did. And now let's see if we can continue and to find some stability into that."

Barca returns home to face Virtus Bologna, Shengelia's former team, on Friday night.

The visitors hadn’t allowed more than 79 points in any of their last seven games, with their defense playing a major role in their four-game winning streak ahead of the game at [Olympiacos Piraeus](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/olympiacos-piraeus/oly/).

But the Reds were having none of it. Georgios Bartzokas’s side hit the ground running, with a spectacular [Tyler Dorsey](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/tyler-dorsey/009849/) coming out firing for the hosts. Despite Olympiacos grabbing a comfortable 95-78 victory, the opening stages saw a back-and-forth affair – a situation Dorsey has been thriving in so far this term.

The Olympiacos guard opened the scoring with a jumper before hitting a pull-up from the elbow for a 4-2 lead. Zalgiris bounced back with [Edgaras Ulanovas](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/edgaras-ulanovas/002329/) making a couple of free throws, but Dorsey drilled one from deep and then netted twice inside, scoring 12 of Olympiacos’s first 14 points of the game to make it 14-9.

Having set the tone early, Dorsey gave the mantle to [Nikola Milutinov](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/nikola-milutinov/003941/), who ended the first quarter on 7 points, with Olympiacos establishing a double-digit lead (28-14) after 10 minutes. The Greek side never looked back, with Dorsey finishing the first half on 15 points and his team 50-36 ahead at halftime.

“It was a great game,” Dorsey told EuroLeague TV. “They are a tough team. We came here right from the jump ball and had our gas on the pedal. We didn’t slow down in the second half as well.”

Eager to finish the game off, the hosts came out swinging in the second half. Olympiacos stepped up its defensive game, holding Zalgiris to just 17 points in the third quarter and securing a 74-53 cushion heading into the fourth.

Unwilling to let the momentum drop, Dorsey made sure he’d get himself on the highlight reel. After scoring an alley-oop two-pointer in transition, he nailed an off-balanced triple off the glass while drawing a foul from former teammate [Moses Wright](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/moses-wright/012878/). On his way to complete the four-point play from the charity stripe, he heard the fans rhythmically chanting his name in recognition of his sublime performance.

“I always appreciate love and positivity,” Dorsey added after the game. “There’s lots of negative stuff in this world today. Any love and positivity feels good. It feels great. Hopefully I can make these fans happy this year, the whole year and at the end the big goal.”

Dorsey finished the night on a season-high 30 points, just two points shy from his career high. Having dominated on both ends of the floor, Olympiacos extended its winning streak against Zalgiris to nine games.

“We scored 95 points against the best defense so far in the EuroLeague,” Coach Bartzokas told EuroLeague TV. “It was a good offensive performance and I think that it was also really good defensively if we take out the second chances that we gave them.”

In fact, Olympiacos’s defense has stepped up over the last three home games, giving up 58, 71 and 78 points, respectively. It remains to be seen if the Reds can emulate that defensive effort on the road in their bid to complete a perfect double-round week at EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Friday night. 

As for the offensive end, Olympiacos is aware that it's covered as Dorsey will be there again pulling the strings.

It’s fair to say that EA7 Emporio Armani Milan’s preparations for Wednesday’s home meeting with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne were far from ideal.

Armoni Brooks inspired absence-affected Milan to third straight win

It’s fair to say that [EA7 Emporio Armani Milan](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/ea7-emporio-armani-milan/mil/)’s preparations for Wednesday’s home meeting with [LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/ldlc-asvel-villeurbanne/asv/) were far from ideal.

Firstly, the Italian team lost two of its most experienced players – [Marko Guduric](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/marko-guduric/004004/) and [Zach LeDay](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/zach-leday/008987/) – through injury. Then a flu bug swept through the camp, forcing [Shavon Shields](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/shavon-shields/007831/) and [Ousmane Diop](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/ousmane-diop/013385/) to miss the game and also depriving Milan of its coach, as Ettore Messina retired to his sick bed and assistant Peppe Poeta stepped up to lead the team into action.

Any concerns, however, that Milan would be adversely affected by all those absences were quickly dispelled as [Armoni Brooks](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/armoni-brooks/013384/) scored the first 5 points, before big man [Josh Nebo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/josh-nebo/011199/) emphatically announced his return from injury with a bone-crunching put-back slam for a 7-0 lead.

Milan proceeded to lead throughout the game to secure a third straight win… but that doesn’t mean it was easy. Committing 14 turnovers and allowing ASVEL to grab 14 offensive rebounds kept the visitors well and truly in the game, and the 80-72 outcome wasn’t decided until the final few seconds as the home fans inside Unipol Forum were forced to endure a nervous finale.

The biggest plus of the night for the hosts was a stellar performance from Brooks, who netted a career-high 23 points on 5-of-8 shooting from three-point range, also adding 6 assists for another personal best.

The 27-year-old guard, now in his second season with Milan, admitted it was far from a perfect performance by his team but emphasized its mental durability during a game that provided plenty of hair-raising moments as ASVEL kept on fighting.

“We’ve been building some momentum, so my biggest thing was being consistent and being resilient,” Brooks said. “It’s not gonna always go the way we want it to go, but we’ve got to stick together, bounce back from tough situations and keep pushing forward.

“There’s always room for improvement, I feel like we had a lot of live ball turnovers that led to either buckets on the other end or fouls, so we’ve got to clean that up.”

Fellow guard [Leandro Bolmaro](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/leandro-bolmaro/008985/) also excelled with a combination of 15 points and 8 rebounds, but he was quick to pinpoint the other area in urgent need of improvement by Milan before Friday’s showdown with Olympiacos Piraeus: “Box out, oh my God! Offensive rebounds were unbelievable for them,” he lamented. “So we have to box out and make sure we get these balls, so we can run and don’t give them second opportunities.”

Overall, though, it was a positive evening for a Milan team which led from start to finish, and Poeta – who is widely tipped to eventually permanently succeed Messina as head coach – had no complaints.

“I have to congratulate my guys, they gave everything on the court in a tough situation without some important players,” he said. “It was not an easy one, but we were leading all the game and were clinical at the end to close it.”

ASVEL was also missing important components, with [Nando De Colo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/nando-de-colo/002100/), [Edwin Jackson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/edwin-jackson/000229/) and [Thomas Heurtel](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/thomas-heurtel/klt/) joined on the absentee list by [Shaquille Harrison](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/shaquille-harrison/013371/), who suited up but did not play a single second as coach Pierric Poupet called on just nine players.

The ASVEL boss was in no mood to make excuses, though, as he admitted: “We did not stick to the game plan, especially on the personnel. We left Brooks open three times and he scored. We don’t have enough personnel and talent to play randomly, so we’ll have to do better next time.”

The hosts hit the ground running in the first quarter, with Tyler Dorsey scoring 12 of their first 14 points. Olympiacos went on to establish a double-digit lead that it maintained until the final buzzer. Both teams now boast a 7-3 record after Zalgiris’s four-game winning run came to an end.

Dorsey netted a season-high 30 points, while Nikola Milutinov paired his 16 points with 8 rebounds. Sylvain Francisco paced Zalgiris with 15 points and Moses Wright recorded a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds against his former team.

In a thriller that went down to the final second, Barcelona grabbed its fourth road win of its EuroLeague season by topping Bayern 74-75 at SAP Garden in Round 10 on Wednesday. Barca improved to 6-4 in the standings in interim head coach Oscar Orellana's first game, while Bayern dropped to 5-5 as its three-game winning streak came to an end. It all came down to the final seconds, with Spencer Dinwiddle drawing a foul at 73-75 with 1.2 seconds left. He missed his second attempt and Vladimir Lucic could not get a shot up before the final buzzer.

Tomas Satoransky led the winners with 13 points. Will Clyburn added 12 while Toko Shengelia and Willy Hernangomez each had 10 for Barca. Dinwiddle and Oscar da Silva paced Bayern with 17 points apiece. Barca was up 39-50 early in the second half, but a 13-2 run that Justinian Jessup capped with a triple that it at 52-52. Barca led throughout the fourth quarter and when Dinwiddle missed from the foul line, it was able to celebrate a hard-fought road win.

Dubai Basketball remained undefeated at Coco-Cola Arena this season with a 102-86 victory over Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade in the Round 10 opener on Tuesday. Kenan Kamenjas exploded for 20 points, McKinley Wright tallied 18 points and 6 assists and Aleksa Avramovic scored 17 off the bench in his season debut as Dubai improved to 4-6. 

Ebuka Izundu paced Zvezda with 16 points before limping of with an apparent ankle injury and Semi Ojeleye added 15. Zvezda, which was without Chima Moneke, saw its seven game winning streak snapped as it fell to 7-3.

Kamenjas made his present felt early and then Avramovic joined in as Dubai jumped out to a fast start and led 29-21 after 10 minutes. Zvezda opened the second quarter on a 2-13 charge and went ahead on a Nikola Kalinic triple. Dubai regained control and held a 51-47 halftime edge. Wright scored twice in a 9-2 run to open the third quarter as Dubai established a double-digit lead. Zvezda fought its way back to within 2 and trailed by just 4 heading into the final quarter. However, Dubai erupted for 33 points in the final stanza to pull away for good and register the victory.

Following a tight affair in the first quarter, Hapoel pulled away, taking a 58-48 lead into the second half. A 2-11 run fueled by Hamidou Diallo brought the visitors within 71-66, but Elijah Bryant singlehandedly restored a double-digit lead which was maintained by Hapoel until the final whistle. The Israeli side improved its record to 8-2, with Baskonia dropping to 3-7 after its three-game winning streak came to an end.

Bryant went 8-for-12 from the field and led all scorers with 24 points, which he paired with 9 rebounds. Antonio Blakeney and Chris Jones netted 15 each. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot paced Baskonia with 19 points and Mamadi Diakite added 13.

Pregame quotes, Round 10: 'We’ve had a very important chat inside the locker room’

Seven Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv scorers reached double figures, led by Elijah Bryant's 24, in Tuesday's 114-89 blowout of Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in Round 10 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague.

Bryant leads the charge, as Hapoel flexes offensive prowess against Baskonia

In its first-ever EuroLeague season, Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv has taken the league by storm thanks to its dominant offense. Numbers confirm it, but the eye test is even more convincing.

Coach Dimitris Itoudis’s team came into the game against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz averaging a league-high 90.9 points. When the final whistle was blown on Tuesday’s clash, the Israeli side would better that average by 23 points in rolling to a 114-89 victory.

The hosts netted at least 26 points in each of the four quarters, reaching the 100-point mark for the fifth time in 10 games this season. Seven players recorded double digits in scoring, underscoring the depth in Hapoel’s roster this season, with Elijah Bryant being the one who stood out for the second game in a row.

After being the man of the moment last time out against Dubai Basketball by recording a season-high 25 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, Bryant exceled again on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old guard shot 7-for-10 from inside the arc, 1-for-2 from deep and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe. He was 1 board away from a double-double, as he registered 24 points and 9 rebounds. He also bagged 4 assists, pacing his team in all three categories to end the game on a career-high PIR of 39.

More importantly, he stepped up when Baskonia pushed for a comeback in the third quarter. The visitors were trailing 69-55 before mounting a 2-11 surge fueled by Hamidou Diallo, who brought them within 71-66.

Enter Bryant, who kept grinding away on both ends. The Hapoel guard netted 9 of Hapoel’s next 11 points and made some important defensive stops to single-handedly restore a double-digit cushion, 81-68, dealing a major blow to Baskonia’s comeback hopes.

Bryant was assisted by an extraordinary Chris Jones, who went a perfect 6-for-6 on field goals and scored a season-high 15 points – the same tally as his fellow guard, Antonio Blakeney. Vasilije Micic and Vasilije Micic netted 11 points each, with Tyler Ennis and Dan Oturu grabbing 10 apiece.

In fact, all 12 Hapoel players who stepped on the floor got their names on the scoreboard, as the hosts fired on all cylinders. The Israeli side shot 28-for-44 from inside the rainbow and 12-for-21 from deep, missing just 1 of their 23 free-throw attempts.

“Offensively, we were there consistently and we controlled the game,” Itoudis said in the post-game press conference. “We actually took what was given from their defense, because, although they have size, our guards found a way to create the extra player all the time with good spacing.”

Despite coming into this game averaging a league-low 8.9 offensive rebounds, Hapoel ended the game on 12 offensive boards, winning the battle by outrebounding the visitors 33-19.

“We have a long roster and we have many injured players, but today we had seven players in double digits,” Itoudis told EuroLeague TV after the game. “We had 33 to 19 rebounds, we hustled and when we found the way to make some significant stops on their creativity - because the game was open - it was very important.”

Having opened the double-round week with a dominant win, Hapoel will look to lean on its offense in its bid to double its victories by defeating defending champion Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul on the road. Should Itoudis’s side pull off a similar offensive outing, there might be no stopping them on Thursday night.
