The 1992 continental champs return to the top continental stage with Partizan NIS Belgrade playing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for the first time since 2014. At the helm is the winningest coach in European basketball history, Zeljko Obradovic, who returned to his beloved Partizan last season. The team features a trademark mix of home-grown talent, experience, boosts from abroad and, above it all, youth.
BACKCOURT
Kevin Punter led the team in its 7DAYS EuroCup run last season and he's returning to keep conducting the team on the court. Two newcomers will be by his side as sharpshooter Danilo Andjusic and the dynamic Dante Exum have arrived this summer to contribute after their EuroLeague experience last season in other teams. Aleksa Avramovic, Gregor Glas and Yam Madar will complete the guard rotations. The three of them had good EuroCup campaigns last season and remain in Belgrade. Two other newcomers with loads of EuroLeague experience will be covering the wings in James Nunnally and Ioannis Papapetrou, whose leadership will come in handy as the team tackles the EuroLeague challenge. Small forward Uros Trifunovic in his fourth season with the team, will look to increase his role, too.
