Two of the tallest players in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Georgios Papagiannis and Youssoupha Fall, are set to lock horns when Panathinaikos Athens (3-6) welcomes LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne (3-6) on Friday night.
Marquee matchup: Papagiannis, Fall in a giant showdown

The 2.20-meter Papagiannis will look to bounce back from his below-par performance on Wednesday, when he had 2 points with 4 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists in Panathinaikos’s overtime win against Virtus Segafredo Bologna. It ended a streak of four games in which he scored in double figures. An All-EuroLeague Second Team selection after leading the competition in rebounding and blocks last season, Papagiannis is posting 6.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in this campaign.
Fall has been one of the most productive big men in the EuroLeague so far this season. ASVEL's 2.21-meter center has scored in double figures in seven of nine games this season, and had at least 5 rebounds in each of his last eight appearances, including 11 points and 6 rebounds in a dramatic 74-75 loss against FC Bayern Munich in Round 9. Fall is posting 10.7 points while ranking third with 7.7 rebounds this season as he gets ready to go against his Panathinaikos counterpart.
