Two teams whose respective games finished in dramatic fashion on Wednesday get ready for another battle just 48 hours later when Panathinaikos Athens (3-6) hosts LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne (3-6) on Friday night in the Greek capital.
Panathinaikos, ASVEL meet after a dramatic Wednesday

Panathinaikos is coming off a confidence-boosting 88-85 overtime win over Virtus Segafredo Bologna in which Derrick Williams shined with 26 points, including a clutch three-pointer that put the Greens up for good late in the extra session. Nate Wolters netted 18 points and Paris Lee had 15 as Panathinaikos made 13 three-pointers on 44.8% accuracy. The Greens hope to continue their fine shooting form in this home game.
ASVEL was on the wrong end of a dramatic finish, falling a point short, 74-75, at home against FC Bayern Munich after having rallied from 17 points down. Nando De Colo had 15 points to pace ASVEL which now arrives to Athens on a three-game losing streak. But it will have its work cut out against Panathinaikos, which will aim to register consecutive wins for the first time this season and make another step toward the middle of the standings.
