The Lithuanian team was held to a season low of just 62 points in Tuesday's loss at ALBA, with Dovydas Giedraitis posting 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists as the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing display. Monaco was downed in an overtime thriller by Partizan despite 23 points on 9-of-11 field goal shooting from Donatas Motiejunas, and now has to find enough energy to confront the always electric atmosphere at Zalgirio Arena. Monaco looks after the basketball better than any other team, committing a league low of 10.3 turnovers per game, and will aim for that kind of control against a hungry host.

- In their first ever meeting, in December 2021 in Kaunas, Monaco rallied to beat Zalgiris in overtime 98-107. Monaco guard Mike James dished a career-high 14 assists in that game.
- Monaco pulled out an 84-82 home win last December behind 22 points, including a career-high 10 made free throws, 9 assists and a career-best 4 steals from Elie Okobo, who earned MVP of the Round honors with a PIR 35.
- Monaco center Donatas Motijeunas grew up with Zalgiris and made his EuroLeague debut with the club during the 2007-08 season.
- Motiejunas has been a teammate of Zalgiris's Tomas Dimsa and played under Zalgiris head coach Kazys Maksvytis on the Lithuanian national team at the 2023 World Cup.
