In the paint, Zvezda's Luka Mitrovic has grabbed more offensive rebounds than any other player (3.1 per game), so Real giants Walter Tavares and Vincent Poirier will be tasked with ensuring the home team is denied second-chance possessions. - Zvezda center Ognjen Kuzmic spent the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons with Real. Kuzmic won the 2018 EuroLeague with the team.
- Real forward Mario Hezonja and Zvezda guard Nemanja Nedovic were teammates at Panathinaikos Athens in the second part of the 2020-21 season.
- Nedovic and Real point guard Sergio Rodriguez were teammates at EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in the 2019-20 season.
