ALBA, which downed ASVEL on Friday behind 13 points and 8 rebounds from Yanni Wetzell, is looking for revenge after a comfortable opening-round home victory for Bayern, 80-68, led by 17 points from Sylvain Francisco and Isaac Bonga's double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Bonga has averaged only 4.3 points in the last six games so will be eager for a return to form.
- Bayern and ALBA had never played each other in the EuroLeague before the 2015-16 season.
- In the season opener, Bayern beat ALBA 80-68 and outrebounded ALBA by 49-17. Those 32 rebounds mark the largest rebounding margin ever in a EuroLeague game. Isaac Bonga had his first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 10 rebounds, including a personal-best 6 offensive rebounds.
- Last March in Munich was ALBA's lone win in seven EuroLeague games over Bayern, a 75-76 decision.
