Resurgent Efes (9-13) is aiming to make it three straight wins as it welcomes a Monaco team (12-10) that also has confidence high after destroying Real last week.
Tyrique Jones, Efes: ‘We will fight to defend our home court’

Two iconic guards will surely have a big say in the outcome, as Efes star Shane Larkin (18 points per game, third in the league) looks to out-shoot visiting motor Mike James, who leads the league with 19.3 points per night. Larkin was the key factor by scoring 25 points when Efes won at Monaco in November, 82-89, while Rodrigue Beaubois showed off his scoring potential with 21 points – and he heads into this game in great form after also netting 21 in last week’s destruction of Barcelona.
Erdem Can, Efes head coach
“AS Monaco won a very important game at home last week as known. They are one of the most ambitious teams for the playoffs. They have very talented guards. We want to repeat the aggressive and disciplined basketball we have been playing for the last two weeks.”
Sasa Obradovic, Monaco head coach
"Our aim must be to show our best side, as we did against Barca and Real. I'll accept any result as long as we show our best fighting spirit. Anadolu have the best back line in Europe, apart from ours perhaps. Anadolu is a scoring machine. We'll have to give it everything we've got and winning in Istanbul would be a great result."
Tyrique Jones, Efes player
“Very experienced and talented team that is playing well as of late. We will fight to defend our home court.”
Donatas Motiejunas, Monaco player
"In the last game against Real Madrid, we reacted and showed a very competitive attitude. That's our identity. Playing fast, aggressive basketball, that has to be our face for the rest of the season. When you play like that, you're hard to stop. Every game has to be like a final for us. We're going to face direct playoff opponents. Anadolu beat us at home, so we're going to try and make up for that, that's the goal. Tibor Pleiss? He's an incredible player, he's been instrumental in both Euroleague titles for Anadolu."
