Bayern (9-13) is aiming to climb closer to the all-important top 10 with a visit from rock-bottom ASVEL (4-18).
Sylvain Francisco, Bayern: 'We need this win'

The hosts boosted their confidence with a comfortable German derby victory over ALBA last week, with Danko Brankovic enjoying a breakout game of 14 points and 9 rebounds to further add to Pablo Laso’s big man options. The first meeting between the teams was a 100-101 double-overtime thriller, taken by Bayern as Devin Booker grabbed a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. Mike Scott paced ASVEL with 21 points on 5-of-8 three-point shooting and he will look to recover his usual scoring threat after reaching double-digits in only one of the last four games.
Pablo Laso, Bayern head coach
"It's good that after the really tough first three or four months with a lot of travel, we are finally at home for a longer period. We can recover better and also structure our training better. Everyone will now say that we will win these two games. But sports is not mathematics. In the EuroLeague, you know that you always face a good team, no matter where they stand in the table. ASVEL is at the top in France, and they have players who come from the NBA. And we still remember very well how difficult it was to win narrowly away against them."
Sylvain Francisco, Bayern player
"Even if they are at the bottom now, we know that in the EuroLeague, anyone can beat anyone. We need to play hard against them, keeping in mind how close it was in Lyon. We need this win and must do everything for it."
