Two of the funniest players on the roster of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Tibor Pleiss and Elijah Bryant, sit down side by side for the first-ever edition of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague’s ‘Draw Your Teammate’ challenge.
Some people are better drawers than others and that is certainly the case with Pleiss and Bryant, who opted to take varying approaches towards drawing one another. Make sure to buckle up, because you’re bound to have a smile on your face after watching this video!
Pleiss can’t believe what he sees
“Can we have some funny music in the background? I think elevator music is nice,” says Pleiss as he patiently waits for Bryant to finish his drawing, all while the Efes guard tries to get the German center to avoid looking at his sketch.
“Not that you’re an animal, but there’s an animal that you remind me of,” comments Bryant. “Oh, God. A penguin. A penguin again,” Pleiss responds in a despondent tone.
“Oh, God. What is that!?” Pleiss reacts after finally getting to see Bryant’s attempt at a drawing of the two-time EuroLeague champion.
Bryant ends up being pretty impressed
When it becomes Pleiss’s turn to become the artist, let’s say he took it a little more seriously.
“That’s a lot of squiggles that I hear. That’s my hair,” notes Bryant. “I am drawing an animal as well, of course,” Pleiss chimes back.
“That’s pretty good. I think you win, for sure,” Bryant states, admitting defeat in the first-ever edition of the ‘Draw Your Teammate’ challenge.
Pleiss and Bryant are currently in their third season playing together, with the American having joined Efes in the 2021-22 season after becoming an NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks. That 2021-22 campaign ended up going as well as it possibly could, as Efes became the back-to-back EuroLeague champion, giving Pleiss his second successive EuroLeague title and Bryant his first.
