Small forward Edgaras Ulanovas will be back to his signature club, as Zalgiris Kaunas announced on Saturday a one-year deal with the player.
Ulanovas returns home to Kaunas

Ulanovas (1.99 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, where he averaged 4.5 points in 28 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. Before joining Fenerbahce, Ulanovas played for Zalgiris for six consecutive seasons. Ulanovas averaged 8.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 28 EuroLeague games in the 2019-20 season. He helped Zalgiris reach the EuroLeague Final Four in 2018 and the playoffs in 2019. In 203 EuroLeague career games with Zalgiris and Fenerbahce, Ulanovas amassed 1,378 points (6.8 ppg.) and 666 rebounds (3.3 rpg.). He led Zalgiris to six consecutive Lithuanian League titles from 2015 to 2020 and lifted the Lithuanian Cup trophy four times (2015, 2017, 2018, 2020). In addition to Zalgiris, Ulanovas also played for Aisciai Kauno, Triobet Malsta Jonavos, Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas, Baltai Kaunas, Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys and Neptunas Klaipeda. He is a standing member of the Lithuanian senior national team. He also holds an illustrious mark in youth basketball as he won all four gold medals internationally for his generation: 2008 U16 European Championship, 2010 U18 European Championship, 2011 U19 World Cup and 2012 FIBA U20 European Championship.
