Evans has put himself on the map after his performances with Betis in the last season and a half. In the 2021-22 campaign he averaged 17.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 34 Spanish League games, and he followed in that up in 2022-23 by increasing his scoring average to the aforementioned 21.0 points per game. Prior to joining Betis in 2021, Evans spent the first two years of his career – in 2018-19 and 2019-20 – with Atomeromu of Hungary, before playing for Pau-Orthez of France and Bahcesehir of Turkey in 2020-21. Now, he joins a Valencia team in need of guard help, given the injuries to Martin Hermannsson and Sam Van Rossom.
