Maccabi pens long-term deal with Braelee Albert

Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv announced on Sunday that is has signed swingman Braelee Albert to a three-year contract. Albert is expected to be loaned out for the 2025–26 season.
Albert (1.96 meters, 24 years old) played the last two seasons laying college basketball at Loyola of New Orleans in the NAIA, where he averaged 11.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 28.4 minutes over 48 games. He started in 30 of those appearances.
Born in Los Angeles, Albert began his college career at Vanderbilt University under head coach Jerry Stackhouse. He later transferred to Tulane and then to Loyola. He first drew Maccabi's attention when he won two gold medals at the Maccabiah Games with Team Maccabi USA.
