U18 Ulm hangs on to beat U18 Milan



U18 ratiopharm ulm stayed perfect at the Adidas NextGen EuroLeague Ulm qualifier, improving to 2-0 after beating U18 EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 84-82 in a nail-biting finish.
Leading 84-76 with 37 seconds to go, Ulm had to hang on as Milan went on a 6-0 run. Teo Milicic missed a couple of free throws for Ulm with seven seconds remaining, but Federico Costaglione’s potential buzzer-beating three-pointer for Milan was off the mark.
Gustavs Brutans led Ulm in scoring with 18 points, followed by Yanu Slingerland with 15, Felix Kiehlneker with 14 and Milicic with 13. Milicic also paced Ulm in rebounds (7) and assists (7). Milan’s top scorer was Baptiste Chauveau, who had 18 points. Alessandro Manfredotti was the Italian team’s only other double-digit scorer, netting 15 points. Costaglione finished the night with 7 points and 10 assists.
