A losing streak will be ended as winless Cedevita (0-11) hosts a Besiktas team (6-5) that has dropped three straight to see its playoff hopes come under threat.
Simone Pianigiani, Cedevita: 'There will be a wall in front of us'

Cedevita has been getting close to its elusive first win, most recently falling 83-81 at Joventut despite 20 points from in-form guard DJ Stewart, who has scored in double digits in five straight games. Besiktas needs to recover its defensive toughness after allowing an average of 85 points in its three-game losing run, but got a promising debut from new signing Kyle Allman with 10 points and 3 assists in last week’s loss at Prometey.
Simone Pianigiani, Cedevita Olimpija head coach
"Besiktas is one of the best teams in the competition, built to win the EuroCup. The team is made up of athletic players who play very physical basketball. Especially in the defense, they play perhaps even the most physical basketball in the EuroCup. They added Kyle Allman to the lineup, who is another player who can cover positions from 'one' to 'three'. There will be a wall in front of us, and we will face a lot of physical play and pressure. It will definitely be a another challenge for us to stay in the game as long as possible to win and try to overcome the pressure and physical aggression, and we have to keep the ball moving, but also not commit to many turnovers. In defense, we have to counter the physical strength of our rivals throughout the match and use everything we have. For us, the match will be a new test for progress and for improving our game, which we can then transfer to the regional league."
Luka Scuka, Cedevita Olimpija player
"A very difficult match awaits us in Stozice against an opponent who plays a physical game. Our task is to do our best to record the first victory in the EuroCup."
