Germani Brescia, back to the 7DAYS EurpCup after a one-year hiatus, is an ambitious club that will try to build off its domestic success last season to make a long run in the competition. To do that, however, Brescia will need to make it through a tough Group A, packed with experienced EuroCup clubs. That challenge will certainly make for an exciting season. Here are a few of Brescia's games to watch in 2022-23.
2022-23 Games to Watch: Germani Brescia

Round 2: Home opener
Brescia starts the season on the road, but it will play its first home game in Round 2 when it welcomes Ukrainian newcomer Prometey Slobozhanske. Home openers always bring a special energy, both for the team and the fans, and are always an opportunity to build a foundation for things to come. Expect nothing different from head coach Alessandro Magro's team.
Round 3: Return to Ulm
Brescia has faced Ulm in two of its previous three EuroCup seasons, and the German club has won three of those four games, including both on its home floor. This trip will also present a return to a familiar place for a pair of Brescia players – guard Troy Caupain and forward John Petrucelli. Both wore Ulm's jersey back in the 2020-21 season, the last time these two teams played, and both had starting roles. Petrucelli collected 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Caupain had 8 points and 4 assists. Now, they will try to help Brescia to its first win in Ulm.
Round 9: Bursaspor in the building
In the last game before the regular season reaches the halfway point, and in its final EuroCup game of 2022, Brescia hosts Frutti Extra Bursaspor. Last year's finalist was one of the best offensive teams in the competition in 2021-22 and will have big ambitions to replicate the same brand of basketball in the upcoming season. It will make for a perfect challenge for Brescia and its defense in a game that is not to be missed, just a few days before the new year.
Round 17: Home finale
Brescia's last regular season home game at PalaLeonessa sees it welcome a perennial EuroCup contender in Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, a team that has great hopes for the upcoming campaign. Final home games can carry a weight of their own, especially against one of the competition favorites. Brescia will have to meet the challenge to get a win in this Round 17 fixture, one that has a potential to be the team's most important game at that point in the season, making it one to watch in late March.
