About the program: AS Monaco will keep on delivering its One Team program in partnership with Special Olympics Monaco for the third consecutive year, with the aim of raising the awareness of athletes with intellectual disabilities and their integration into society. The program will be delivered to 10 participants with intellectual disabilities, using the power of basketball as a tool to focus on social skills such as communication, team building, confidence, motivation and respect. There will be eight sessions of two hours each from late October to mid-December. AS Monaco plans to involve the Bella Vita restaurant and the Monaco Government as sponsors of the program, in order to raise as much awareness as possible about the program. In addition, guests from other Monaco sports organizations and institutions will be invited to share their own experiences in helping the participants to learn and grow.
