FC Bayern Munich - Disabilities/Offene Behinderten Arbeit München

Ambassador: Robin Amaize
Main Life Skills: Self-esteem & Team-building
About the program: For the fourth consecutive year, FC Bayern Munich continues its collaboration with Offene Behinderten Arbeit München, a local institution which offers various cultural and educational activities for people with mental disabilities. The group working with the club is already training in basketball and taking part at the Special Olympics. Bayern’s One Team group consists of 15 male and 8 female participants, aged between 20 and 50, with different forms of intellectual disability. The social issue the German club wants to address is disability equality. With this program, Bayern is trying to increase the participants’ self-esteem and improve team-building skills. The online sessions started in February.
