About the Program:
In this season’s One Team Program, AX Armani Exchange Milan is collaborating for the fourth consecutive time with Laureus Sport For Good Italia Onlus, an international movement inspired by Nelson Mandela which has the vision of using the power of sport to end violence, discrimination and disadvantage. Laureus has been helping minors aged from ages 6 to 18 around the world since 2005, working with different cultural backgrounds, those at risk of delinquency or who live in situations of social, cultural and economic distress to promote psychological well-being and social inclusion. The program uses the positive language of sport to support the educational path of youths from the suburban area of Gratosoglio (south of Milan). The club is working with children aged between 12 and 13, both boys and girls, from Instituto Comprensivo Arcadia - Milan, including a sport psychologist, with the aim of reinforcing life skills and a common sense of ‘team’ and ‘community’. The sessions take place over the course of 12 weeks with 100 children in five classes. For the second consecutive season, Kyle Hines and Gigi Datome are serving as Ambassadors of Milan’s One Team program.
