• To promote sports activities designed to encourage participants to take initiative and accept responsibilities.

• To promote activities that foster respect for teammates, opponents and established rules.

• To offer platforms for dialogue and exchange to foster cohesion and social integration.

• To provide tools for future employability.

• Return to the center’s normality post-pandemic.

Sport can generate major psychological reinforcement, favoring a positive attitude among inmates regarding the physical benefits of such activities (physical well-being, acquisition of habits, etc.), the use of free time, the leisure and training aspects involved and, on another level, in terms of the acquisition of such values as effort, discipline, self-sacrifice, respect for rules, spirit of justice, humility and enjoyment. The sessions are held from October 2021 to June 2022.
