About the program:
WKS Slack Wroclaw is implementing its first One Team Program this season by collaborating with Father Martin Luther´s Evangelical Center of Diakonia and Education, a center which aims to help children and youths gain and develop self-esteem through education and activities. Slask’s program contains 20 young people – 10 boys and 10 girls, aged from 10 to 20. 60% of them have mild or moderate intellectual disability, 30% have physical disabilities and 10% are at risk of social exclusion from broken homes. They are participating in sessions for two hours per week over the course of eight weeks. The program aims improve different social skills by working on self-esteem, teamwork, self-confidence, communication, motivation, respect and ambition.
