About the program: Segafredo Virtus Bologna has partnered with A.S.D. Magika Pallacanestro to deliver its One Team program. The ambition is to involve as many girls as possible with basketball, transmitting the message of gender equality by reinforcing female integration into society through basketball. Around 25 males and females aged 12-13 will take part in the project, with activities at the Virtus Basketball Gym. The boys and girls will focus on different life skills such as equality, integration, respect and team work. The club’s One Team Ambassadors Kyle Weems, Alessandro Abbio together with Elisabetta Tassinari and Angela Gianolla and management from both clubs, will be supporting the One Team participants and attending the sessions.
