About the program:

For a third consecutive season, Slask Wroclow is delivering its One Team program together with Father Martin Luther’s Evangelical Center of Diakonia and Education. This center helps children and young adults gain and develop self-esteem through education and activities that take their individual abilities into consideration. Between 20-30 boys and girls aged between eight and 18 with physical and intellectual disabilities are taking part in Slask’s One Team program, which looks to promote inclusion and improve different social skills by using basketball as a tool for good. The life skills of self-confidence, teamwork, respect and ambition are highlighted, as well as the way in which the participants can apply these qualities in their daily lives once the program has come to an end. Slask's One Team program is being delivered between November 2023 and February 2024, with two-hour sessions taking place every two weeks.
