About the program:

For a second season in a row, Slask Wroclow is delivering its One Team program together with Father Martin Luther’s Evangelical Center of Diakonia and Education. This center helps children and young adults gain and develop self-esteem through education and activities that take their individual abilities into consideration. There are 20 people aged between 10 and 20 with physical and intellectual disabilities that take part in Slask’s One Team program, which looks to promote inclusion and improve different social skills by using basketball as a tool. The life skills of self-confidence, teamwork, respect and ambition are highlighted, as well as the way in which the participants can apply these qualities in their daily lives once the program has come to an end. Slask's One Team program is being delivered between December 2022 and February 2023, with two-hour sessions taking place over the course of eight weeks.
