About the program: Telenet Antwerp Giants is running its first ever One Team program in collaboration with Willibies Antwerpen as a social partner. Willibies started as a project in 2003 to give loitering youth a place to exercise, focusing mainly on vulnerable young people. By keeping the membership fee low, everyone in the community gets the opportunity to play sports and develop their abilities. Thanks to this new partnership, a group of 26 participants aged under 18 benefit from the sessions which aim to provide inclusion in society and promote essential life skills such as teamwork, respect and tolerance in their daily routines. Due the pandemic situation, the sessions started remotely with the involvement of the team’s player and One Team Ambassador Vincent Ketesloot, who discussed several topics with the participants and set some basketball challenges to achieve from their homes.
