About the program:
Veolia Towers Hamburg is continuing to integrate its One Team activities into the basketball program called BasKIDball, which is developed together with the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation. The program is aiming to use basketball as a way of making a positive impact on the low-income population of Wilhelmsburg. Hamburg’s One Team program connects people from diverse cultural backgrounds, giving the possibility to be active and promoting acceptance, recognition, and respect. Starting in November 2022 and running through May 2023, a group of 15 to 25 kids aged between 10 and 17 will attend the One Team sessions twice a month for two hours. The program is being led by the club's One Team coach and social worker, and the One Team Ambassadors are first-team players Seth Hinrichs and Lukas Meisner.
