About the program:
Virtus Segafredo Bologna has partnered with PGS Welcome Baskin Bologna to deliver its One Team program, which is providing support to those learning to deal with a disability and helping disabled people integrate into society. This is achieved by using the values of basketball as a force for good. Around 40 males and females aged between 18 and 35 will take part in the program, with the activities taking place at the Pala Ferrari, Casa Virtus, Virtus Segafredo Arena and Salesiani School Gym. The men and women will focus on different life skills, such as confidence, empathy and respect, as well as getting a sense of community. The club’s One Team Ambassadors, Kyle Weems, and Sabrina Cinili, will be supporting the One Team participants and attending the sessions.
