Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has added another dynamic scorer to its roster with the signing of swingman Brandon Boston to a one-year contract, the club announced.
Boston (1.98 meters, 23 years old) arrives from the New Orleans Pelicans, where he averaged 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 42 games last season, including 10 as a starter. It was the best stat line of his NBA career, which included three previous seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers. He played a total of 147 games with the Clippers and Pelicans.
The high school player of the year in California in 2020, Boston played one season of college basketball at the University of Kentucky before he was selected in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft and began his professional career with the Clippers.
