Milan completes move for star guard Marko Guduric

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has announced the signing of combo guard Marko Guduric on a multi-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday.
Guduric (1.99 meters, 30 years) arrives from Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul after leading the team to its second EuroLeague title. He played a critical role in the Championship Game against AS Monaco, finishing with 19 points on 4-of-5 two-pointers, 3-of-5 three-pointers, 2-of-2 free throws, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and a PIR of 27. Guduric buried a crucial step-back three-pointer that sealed the outcome, 64-74, with over a minute left.
The Serbian international took part in 36 EuroLeague games last season, averaging 10.9 points on 88.3% free throws, 3.1 assists and a PIR of 11.9. He wore Fenerbahce's jersey for seven seasons across two stints (2017-19; 2020-25) and helped Fenerbahce reach the 2018 EuroLeague Championship Game, which it lost against Real Madrid.
During his time with Fenerbahce, Guduric helped the team win four Turkish League championships and three Turkish Cups. He netted 2,298 points across seven seasons with Fenerbahce, which is the second most of any player in the club's EuroLeague history.
Guduric started his career with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, winning back-to-back Serbian League and Adriatic League titles in 2016 and 2017, as well as Serbian Cup title in 2017 to complete the domestic triple crown. He also played for the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA, the Memphis Hustle of the G League and FMP Belgrade of Serbia.
Guduric is also a regular member of the Serbian national team, helping it win an Olympic bronze medal in Paris 2024, as well as respective silver medals at EuroBasket 2017 and the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Guduric also got a gold medal at the 2015 U29 European Championships.
In 285 EuroLeague games with Zvezda and Fenerbahce, Guduric amassed 2,712 points, 640 rebounds and 695 assists. None was more important than the 285th, in which he finally could call himself a EuroLeague champion.
“I am happy, excited for the opportunity to start a new chapter in my career and to be able to do it in a legendary club, a great organization that I have only heard good things about. I can’t wait to start the new season, to wear the red Olimpia jersey in front of our fans and to build something special together with my new teammates," Guduric said. "The first goal will be to build a connection with all of them, which is essential to try to win as many trophies as possible.”
