FC Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius:
"It was exactly what we spoke before the game. We expected this type of match. We expected Zalgiris to play exactly how they played, driving the ball every single time, aggressive, putting the ball inside the paint, attacking the rim... So imagine if they did like this, how good they would be in Kaunas, so we have to be ready. We have to be better. I think we took care of business at home. Now, we understand how much better they play at home. We have to take the next step and be better, for sure.
"Congratulations to our players, congratulations to [the fans inside] Palau who were fantastic, like always in these situations. I thought that our players really came out and played really, really hard. I thought their motivation was at the highest level and they tried to match Zalgiris's motivation. And I thought for some moments, we could not control them. I thought we cannot control their drives, we cannot control their one-on-ones. We have to go in other situations and OK, at the end also, I believe that our effort in the fourth quarter to dig deeper and finally have a good defensive quarter was probably was the key [to the win]. We finally stopped them on 15 points and even got some fastbreak points from that. Obviously, it is a huge win for us."
Zalgiris Kaunas head coach Kazys Maksvytis:
"I don't have anything about our guys. Bravo. Good job. They were fighting. They gave a good fight.
"I think that both teams deserved to win today, but only one team won, so I don't have anything bad to say about my guys. We were fighting. We were in the game against a good team. We lost one more game, but didn't give up. We go to Kaunas, where we will try to change the series. We were very close [to our maximum]. We could have changed the game a couple of times and were in the game until the end. We made, of course, a couple of mistakes; our tactical mistakes and went a little bit out of the game plan, but I don't have anything [negative to say] against my guys. I think this game was closer to the face we had all season than Game 1. We were fighting, were more aggressive and physical enough. In Kaunas, on our home court, we have sold out [the arena] and it will be much harder [for Barcelona]."

"No doubt, we knew that it was going to be hard. They played a really amazing game, Zalgiris, from the jump – very physical – but we also played a great game. We never let them play easy. I think we did a good job defensively, with some mistakes, but we competed well. We won the second game, which was key for us. And now with 2-0 we cannot relax because the job is not done. We need to think just about getting the next one. We earned it to be in this position. I think each game is different; no doubt that this next game in Kaunas will be different, with their crowd. Also, they will have to be more confident, but we need to think about us and try to be a better team."

"We knew that we would be much more aggressive than on Wednesday. We tried to match it and I think we did a pretty good job, but not enough during the game. But, in the end, we broke them. We stayed mentally in the game and that was the key. We suffered a lot; they were very aggressive, like I said."
