Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens will be without center Omer Yurtseven for the next three weeks after the Turkish big man suffered a left adductor strain, according to EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge Podcast co-host Vasiliki Karamouza.
The 27-year-old has been a key figure in Panathinaikos’s frontcourt rotation, especially in the absence of fellow big man Mathias Lessort, who has yet to play this season, and Richaun Holmes, who has missed two of the team's last three EuroLeague games.
In recent weeks, Yurtseven had stepped up in a major way, averaging 11.5 points on 72% shooting and 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 block over his last four games, providing a much-needed interior presence for Coach Ergin Ataman.
