Maccabi center Josh Nebo enjoyed a fine first campaign in the competition wearing the Zalgiris green and Zalgiris guard Keenan Evans helped Maccabi reach the playoffs in his premier run in the competition.
However, aside from the uniforms themselves, these two players won’t see too much they are familiar with. Zalgiris has an entirely new look at center and only power forward Tyler Cavanaugh returns from last season’s frontline. Maccabi has two returning guards from last season in team captain John DiBartolomeo and Iftah Ziv, though neither is expected to play a major role. Nonetheless, both Nebo and Evans can be expected to play with the fire inside of competitors facing their former teams.
