The guard has left to pursue an opportunity elsewhere
Brandon Taylor departs Virtus

Virtus Bologna has confirmed the departure of Brandon Taylor, whose request to depart the club was granted.
Taylor averaged 2.5 points and 1.5 assists in 11 EuroLeague appearances for Virtus this season, playing a complimentary role behind guards Carsen Edwards, Luca Vildoza and Matt Morgan.
The 32-year-old joined Virtus in May 2025 and was part of the team that won the Scudetto last season.
"Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna announces that, following player Brandon Taylor's request to pursue an opportunity that appeals to him and a new professional experience, it has decided to grant the player's transfer," Virtus said in a statement.
"The entire club would like to thank Brandon, who played a key role in winning last season's [Italian League] championship, for his professionalism and dedication, which have contributed significantly to building a team identity in this first part of the season."
